a year agoFirst-time in a TV studio, and it was impressive. Enjoyed the green screen demos and the considerable amount of technology needed to be a working studio with a large viewer base.

7 years agoAlthough WGCU is the only local radio to hear pretty much continuous news and information and some excellent programming, there seems to be way too much in the way of repetitive station promotion spots and underwriting spots. I haven't counted how many times a listener will hear the station call letter "WGCU" in an hour but it must be close to a few dozen and so many of them are repeated endlessly. iWGCU sounds now much like a commercial radio station with such a large amount of promotional interruptions.
